Special seminar with Dr. Ian Bremmer
On December 6, 2023, we held a special seminar with Dr. Ian Bremmer (President, Eurasia Group/GZERO Media), one of the world's leading experts in geopolitics.
Nearly 250 people attended the seminar, both at the venue and online.
The first part of the seminar consisted of a lecture by Dr. Bremmer on geopolitical risks to watch for in the coming year, a discussion with Chairperson Takeshi Niinami, and a Q&A session with the participants.
In the second part, under the theme of "How should corporate activities be conducted in light of risks," David Boling, Director, Japan & Asian Trade, Eurasia Group; Kazuto Suzuki, Director, Institute of Geoeconomics and Professor, Graduate School of Public Policy, University of Tokyo; Jun Suzuki, vice Chairperson and chairperson of the Geopolitical Risk Study Committee (Moderator: Mitsunobu Koshiba, chairperson of the Economic Security Committee).
